Everybody is struggling.

I understand that.
Everyone has bills, problems, hardships and pain.
Reaching out for help is not something we do lightly.
“Ask for help” is not a default setting in our minds.
We don’t want to inconvenience anyone.
We punish ourselves more brutally than any heartless person who only knows us from reading the public plea for help ever could and more intensely than any condescending nonchalant suggester who makes obvious suggestions as if we put zero thought into the troubling request.
We wish there was a way to convey that if we are asking for help...
we have exhausted all options available to us.
Long nights were exhausted and every obvious possible scenario outcome was thought and overthought.
For every detailed sentence, there were 100’s of identical ones deleted because we know there are people who have it worse than us.
We aren’t war heroes, we aren’t celebrities, we aren’t poster models pushing an agenda, we aren’t bottom feeders seeking to collect via the bleeding heart of humanity.
We’re just people.
Just broken people who can’t seem to see the break in the storm anymore.

We are not worthy of favor.
Asking for help isn’t something we do lightly.
