Bloom
From within the darkness, the seed takes hold
Of the fertile ground upturned and sown.
A flame takes spark, a breath of life
Germinates hidden, withheld from light.
His root grasps at any, drilling for sustenance
Killing and stealing life from any existence.
Eating former selves, past lives in this tomb-
The Dark Hearted Rose emerges in bloom.
